My current favorite breakfast is so simple yet so satisfying!
The banana slices act as the “cereal” and gives a great boost of potassium, nutrients & fiber, the yogurt gives the morning dose of probiotics for good digestion, the hemp gives a protein boost full of healthy omega 3 & 6 FAs, cinnamon is a great blood stabilizer and finally the coconut water serves as the “milk” in this morning “cereal bowl.”
In a medium bowl add in & gently stir together:
1 banana diced (frozen- will give a more ice cream texture/ or room temp)
1/2 cup unsweetened organic soy yogurt
3/4 cup coconut water
1-2 tablespoons hemp seeds for an omega protein crunch
Plenty of cinnamon
This would also taste so delicious with some fresh or dried coconut meat!
