Breakfast is one of the habits I try to set into my daily routine. It truly makes the biggest (well one of the biggest) differences in how my day unfolds.
Enjoying a quiet, calming morning with both mental (enter NPR and a melange of subscribed podcasts) and physical nourishment, is a lovely way to start the day.
I start the day with my usual lemon water + probiotic, followed with my habitual breakfast of a diced organic apple + unsweetened soy yogurt, sprinkled with cinnamon, a piece (or 2) of toast & a cup of french pressed coffee. Add in some morning sunshine perhaps, and everything feels right :).
New habits can be hard to incorporate, but once we do, they are powerful and effective ways to subtly evolve and shift the focus of our days and thus our lives.
A book to delve into the topic of habits (it is somewhat dry, but interesting so far..)
